Pete Cole with his 6lb13 trout caught on the main lake
Pat
Webb, Glenavy got a shock when he hooked into this giant 20lb5 rainbow.
Pat was fishing the main lake from the jetty using a hares ear on a
floating line when this monster took his fly. After a good 20 minute
fight Pat managed to land the fish, got his picture taken and then
released him again. Pat now holds the new record at Islandderry
fishery for the biggest fish caught and landed on the main lake!! There is bigger
trout still in the lake, up to 25lb in weight, so the record could still be beaten!
