Hollow Springs lake is Islandderry's bait and fly lake. Its 1-acre in size and 12 foot deep with a stone pathway the whole way round it.
Although anyone can fish it, the lake is proving very popular with children and the elderly. An excellent lake to learn to fish on. The lake is stocked with trout from 1 1/4 lb to 12lb.
Bread and worms are the only bait allowed, with bread being the trout's favourite.
